LIMITED WARRANTY
We believe in the durability of Stinar products and Stinar craftsmanship. Therefore, we offer the longest warranty in the industry! All new Stinar manufactured products receive a 3-year warranty beginning upon the date of invoice. Couple that with any OEM warranty for equipment mounted on an OEM chassis. More details are outlined below.
At Stinar we recognize the urgency for products to always be running and performing at their best. Stinar is here to help resolve any issues regardless of the warranty status of your product, so make us your first call whenever problems arise.
At Stinar, we work for you!
To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, the owner must contact Stinar at 651-454-5112 before expiration of the period regarding any failure of a Stinar product, under normal use and service, caused by a defect in Stinar material or workmanship (a “Warrantable Failure”). Stinar will work with the owner’s on-site repair/maintenance personnel to find a service solution for any Warrantable Failure and/or implement any necessary repair or replacement of parts due to a Warrantable Failure. If the owner does not have such personnel, Stinar will help locate personnel to assist. Unless otherwise agreed to by Stinar, the owner is responsible for all labor, travel (and travel-related), towing, or shipping expenses related to service under this Limited Warranty, except for expenses related to labor and/or travel by Stinar personnel. Stinar will, at its option, repair or replace any part that, after inspection by Stinar, is found to have failed due to a Warrantable Failure. In addressing a Warrantable Failure, Stinar may use new or remanufactured parts for repair or replacement, at its option.
The owner is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the product as specified in the applicable Stinar manual and is responsible for providing proof, to Stinar’s satisfaction, that all recommended maintenance has been performed. Stinar is not responsible for chassis-related repairs for chassis mounted Stinar products, but we will work with you to find a solution. Stinar is also not responsible for “downtime” expenses, passenger delays, cargo damage, fines, taxes, business costs, or any other losses resulting from a Warrantable Failure.
Covered Parts
Stinar does not cover wear or wearout of covered parts due to normal wear and tear. The provision of repairs or replacement of parts is the exclusive remedy under this warranty or any implied warranty. Stinar shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages resulting from a warrantable failure or breach of this warranty or any implied warranty by Stinar.
(Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.)
This warranty
This warranty is the sole warranty made by Stinar in regard to the product. Except as provided by law, all other warranties expressed or implied (including statutory or implied warranties of merchantability, durability and fitness for a particular purpose) are excluded. In the event that this exclusion is prohibited by law, all statutory and implied warranties are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.
(Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions or limitations of statutory and implied warranties, or limitations on how long a statutory or implied warranty lasts, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you.)
